Drum roll please… The Indian Head Massage course is now available online!
This long awaited online course is brought to you by a multi-award winning complementary therapist, Indian head massage specialist, trainer, public speaker, fundraiser, story massage instructor and special yoga practitioner, Giuliana Wheater (BA Hons Exon, MCMA college/teacher member). Giuliana is one of five Specialists on the team for the UK Indian Head Massage Community, is a Centre of Excellence with the CMA and a Charity Wellbeing Ambassador for Anna Kennedy Online.
Based on Giuliana’s book “Indian Head Massage for Special Needs”, this level one course shares beautiful, gentle, nurturing and deeply beneficial massage techniques to reduce anxiety, ease, alleviate and even overcome issues and challenges and to help everyone relax and bloom. This online course shares proven neuroscientific information, research and case studies, combined with very visual and practical examples throughout. It isn’t just a training course though, Giuliana also arms you with the neuroscientific language that can be used to approach SENCos, schools and heads, opening the doors and helping you to grow and flourish. Giuliana is also the author of the book “Indian Head Massage for Special Needs” and it is highly advisable to purchase a copy of Giuliana’s book before proceeding with this course – it can be bought from Amazon here.
Once you have trained with Giuliana on this course, you have an open invitation and priority booking to future course dates to refresh your skills/receive treatments as she passionately believes in this work. Refresher courses will cost £60 per person and include a 2 day face-to-face training program in Giuliana’s therapy challet. You can also get a 10% discount from Mary Atkinson’s Story Massage courses if you have trained with Giuliana and vice versa if you have trained with Mary and now would like to train with Giuliana! The CMA will also give you a 10% discount as Giuliana am a teacher/college member with them.

Notes about the course
It is highly recommended that a copy of Giliuana’s ‘Indian Head Massage for Special Needs’ book is also purchased to accompany this course and it is referred to a number of times throughout this course. Whilst not essential, it is very advisable. You can purchase a copy directly from Amazon here.
Previous experience is helpful but not essential for this course.
The Indian Head Massage Course allows you to practice the therapies in your private sessions, within schools and the public sector. It does not entitle you to teach it. This is a practitioner’s level only.
To receive your certificate upon completion of this course, you will need to provide 12 case studies showing how the training is being used and the benefits recorded. Once these have been received, you will receive your full certification.
